Mufi Sab Rasool Bakhsh Saeedi
As a respected Islamic scholar and teacher, Mufti Sab Rasool Bakhsh Saeedi shares Islamic knowledge, provides spiritual guidance, and provides support to community members. In his teachings and advice, he urges people to strengthen their relationship with Allah Almighty and follow the beautiful example and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
His guidance places importance on living our daily lives with kindness, humility, patience, honesty and respect for others. According to him, Islam is not only reflected through our worship, but also in the way we treat our parents and families, in the way we support our neighbors and community, and in the way we show compassion to others.
It is Mufti Sab's aim to encourage the community to continue seeking Islamic knowledge and to pass on good values to future generations. His teachings remind young and old alike the importance of Salah, learning about our faith, remembering Allah, following the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and keeping Islam at the heart of our everyday lives.
As a result of his continued service, teaching, and guidance, Mufti Sab contributes greatly to bringing people together and helping them gain a deeper understanding of Islam. In both good and bad times, his advice encourages us to keep patience, gratitude, and trust in Allah Almighty during both.
It is our prayer that Mufti Sab Rasool Bakhsh Saeedi will continue to be blessed with good health, strength, knowledge, and wisdom by Allah Almighty. Ameen. May Allah reward him abundantly for his time and effort in serving Islam, the Masjid, and the wider community, and may his teaching and guidance continue to benefit future generations as well.
Zaheer Rafiq (Ziggy Rafiq)
Zaheer Rafiq, known as Ziggy Rafiq, volunteers to enhance the Masjid’s website, online presence, and digital initiatives, using his software engineering expertise to provide online services to the community.
Over 20 years, Zaheer has specialized in software engineering, including C#, .NET, software architecture, enterprise development, cloud technologies, and modern processes. He has led technical teams, mentored developers, and helped deliver reliable enterprise solutions. He is also passionate about AI, Generative AI, and real-world tech applications.
Beyond his career, he is active in the software development community as a writer, speaker, mentor, and leader. He is a C# Corner MVP, VIP, Speaker, and UK Chapter Lead, contributing knowledge and supporting other professionals.
His achievements include being named among Microsoft's West Midlands Top 10 Developers (2008), receiving a Microsoft Hero Award and a Shell Award, and having his work preserved in GitHub’s Arctic Code Vault. His Masjid work is a form of giving back, applying Allah’s blessings to help with online and digital needs.
